David A. Garner, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member, has served with the Company since its inception. His principal duties include developing Molecular Health’s marketing and customer retention strategies, managing its administrative, legal, and financial functions. Prior to co-founding the Company in 2010, Mr. Garner co-founded and served for ten years as an Executive Vice-President and Managing Member of a leading raw material supplier, where his accomplishments included growing that business from a start-up to a $45 million dollar distribution company that became the largest Green Tea distributor in the U.S., shipping over 400 metric tons per annum. Mr. Garner was all responsible for helping to build the sourcing and factory infrastructure globally and has traveled extensively throughout Asia visiting and auditing facilities. During his tenure with the former company, he also transitioned the company’s marketing strategy from a strict commodity basis to developing trademarked ingredients and presenting novel and innovative science-based products to all of the customers, resulting in an 80% increase in their gross margins. Before that, he spent several years as a Key Account Manager with Nutratech, Inc., where he significantly expanded existing territory within 18 months and helped implement value-added sales techniques that generated an increase in gross margins. Before that, Mr. Garner spent nine years as a Market Maker and Managing Director for Floor Trading Operations with Botta Trading, Inc. in Chicago and started and co-managed their Wall Street office. Mr. Garner holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Psychology from George Washington University. Mr. Garner is an avid golfer and a member of a local country club as well as several civil and charitable organizations.
Mark Levitt, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Member, has over twenty years’ experience selling bulk raw materials to the nutraceutical industry, and has served with the Company since its inception. His principal operational and logistical duties include inventory and warehousing management, market analysis, new product development, and the implemention, maintenance, and updating of quality control standards. Before co-founding the Company in 2010, Mr. Levitt co-founded and served for ten years as an Executive Vice President and Member of a leading New York City based raw material supplier, where his accomplishments included co-building a multi-million dollar distribution business supplying nutraceutical ingredients to the dietary supplement manufacturers throughout North America, launching an office in Beijing, China, maintaining proper quality control of all ingredients purchased in China, and successfully marketing and presenting new proprietary raw materials to the top marketing companies in the dietary supplement industry. Prior to this, Mr. Levitt spent five years as a Regional Sales Manager with Nutratech, Inc., where he sold nutraceutical ingredients to dietary supplement manufacturers throughout the Eastern United States and grew the sales in his territory by over 50% each year. Before that, Mr. Levitt spent three and four years respectively as an Account Executive with MW International and Solgar Vitamin and Herb. Mr. Levitt attended SUNY College at Oswego. Mr. Levitt is an active triathlete having completed the Ford Ironman competition in Hawaii as well as numerous regional triathlons and recently completed the New York City Marathon. He is an active coach for several recreational leagues in his hometown.
